    Description Background Zipper, also called zipper, is a locking device for, among other things, clothing.
    This can be opened and closed with a runner that is pulled between two rows of hooks.
    The runner is equipped with a drawbar, which is flat and provided with a hole, alternatively smooth and connected with an intermediate link.
    A dress that should fit well and adhere to the body usually has the zipper in the back. The zipper closes from below, approximately at the lumbar spine, and is pulled up to the upper rear part of the clamp.
    Problem To be able to pull up the zipper, a woman would need to pinch the dress with one hand with the fingers just below the end of the zipper so that the zipper can be pulled up in a straight path and thus not get stuck. The other hand then grips the runner's pull pin to close the zipper.
    This is difficult partly because it has to be done without the back part being visible, and partly because the chest widens when the two arms are moved backwards in the star position, which means that it is difficult to pull up the runner. At this point, the zipper can only be pulled up a short distance, about one or two decimetres. If the upper end of the lock is higher, one arm must be moved over the shoulder, pressed as far as possible, and try to get hold of the runner, which is then pulled up to the upper end point.
    Usually this is impossible without help. This also becomes much more difficult if you have a disability.
    Solution and invention ZIP UP is a solution to the problems described above. The product consists of a lock in an annular shape and a small dimension, provided with a 90 centimeter long strap to pull up the runner and an additional strap of corresponding length to open the lock.
    The lock is so designed that it can be opened to be attached to the hole of the drawbar or - if this is not the case - in the link between the drawbar and the zipper. The ring automatically moves to the locked position with the help of a single spring. When the dress is put on, it is easy to catch the straps, then put over the shoulder. The fingers of one hand pinch the dress under the zipper and with the other hand first pull one of the straps and the runner up to the end position. By then pulling the second strap, the lock is opened and ZIP UP is released from the pull pin. This makes it easier for the woman to put on the dress without the assistance of another person, especially for example disability.

    Device for being able to pull up zippers on dresses on the back from the body, consisting of a lock (1) consisting of a hollow spring ring (2), in which a spring-loaded locking mechanism (3) runs in the form of an inner ring, which in locked position prevents , and in the open position allows the passage of a loop or the like by creating an opening in the lock by operating a bracket (4) running in a groove (5) in the hollow ring (2). In the lock (1) a long first strap (6) is fixed which allows the runner on the zipper to be pulled up from the front of the body by the user pulling in the lock-free spirit. In the bracket (4) a second strap (7) of corresponding length to the first strap (6) is connected, and by pulling on the lock-free part of the strap the user can open or close the locking mechanism (3) from the front of the body. The lock (1) is designed so that it can be opened by operating the locking mechanism (3) with the bracket (4) and then attaching it to the hole of the pull pin or, if there is none, in the link between the pull pin and the lock, before putting on the dress. The locking mechanism (3) goes m.h.a. single spring (8) automatically returns to locked position.
